The Topcon AG20BP is a quality Japanese-made instrument that would be excellent for large construction projects or light surveying. The glass circle reading system is much easier to use than metal circle/vernier found on other transits of this class. This particular model also incorporates a integral shifting base (more popular in Europe than in the states) that greatly facilitates alignment over the ground point. These shifting base models originally required a special tripod thread, but we have installed an adapter to allow the AB20BP to be easily used with a standard 5/8x11 tripod. The AG20BP is in very good cosemetic and excellent operating condition; it has been completely serviced and calibrated, and comes with case and photocopy of the owners manual.....just $895.00 |
