The long-range, two-way Remote Control controls all Rugby functions, and lets the user change the instrument settings “on-the-fly”. The Remote Control saves time and increases your flexibility while working in the field. It is fully sealed and is water, dust and shockproof.. In addition to the Remote Control, the Leica Rugby Grade Lasers are equipped with a new, high power laser diodes. The Rugby 320SG and 420DG have a visible red laser diode, while the Rugby 410DG stays with the infrared laser diode. This guarantees an operating range of up to 1100 meters, while maintaining high accuracy of 1.5 mm per 30 meters. The Rugby’s electronic axis alignment makes it easy to align the Rugby in the field and improve grade and set up accuracy. The user can align the instrument using a simple one-person procedure.

The Leica Rugby 320SG and 410DG work great also for general construction applications such as leveling footings and foundations. The simple, five-button keypad means it is easy to use and set up. Laser Plane Stabilization and superior power management keep all the Rugby grade lasers working accurately and without interruptions. The full function, long-range Remote Control saves time on the job and improves communication. The Rugby’s setup can even be changed from inside the cab of a machine.

The Leica Rugby 420DG has been designed for applications such as land leveling and tiling, where long distance and stable performance over the whole day is required. The Rugby 420DG highly accurate Laser Plane Stabilization ensures accurate and repeatable performance from morning until night.

In addition to the two years Leica Geosystems standard international warranty, the new Leica Rugby Grade Laser Series is offered with an optional three years warranty extension.
