| The K&E Paragon Engineers' Transit is one of the last of the "old-style" American made surveying instruments produced. It features all metal construction and a level of craftsmanship that we will likely never see again. This particular instrument dates from the late '60s or early '70s, and all functions (including the full-size compass) work perfectly. As shown here, the instrument has not yet received a final service or cleaning, but as you can see it is in very nice condition. Cleaning (with polishing of the circles and cleaning of the brass), service, and calibration will be included in the purchase price. The original wood-vernier case is also excellent.
