There are many hand level brands in the marketplace, but only one is still made in America (by Americans!), and that's the Kuker-Ranken hand level! The Kuker-Ranken hand level has been in production since 1928 and is known world-wide. It continues to be produced today on a relatively small scale in a Washington State facility. KR Hand Levels are hand finished for smooth and accurate operation with etched glass prisms and precision ground lenses. There are no exposed screws to cause adjustment failure. When taken apart for cleaning, they can be completely assembled and adjusted in the field. The interiors are non-glare. The hand level hardware is made of brass, and all hand levels include a (genuine) leather carrying case with belt loop and snap flap, parts list and instructions. NOTE: Kuker-Ranken has discontinued the 710-S and 570-S models; parts will continue to be available for the discontinued models!
